Candle Care Safety & Instructions

To help keep yourself, your family and your home safe please follow these helpful tips or read the warning label underneath your candle to safely burn your candle each and every time:

CANDLE SAFETY

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended and always place your candle on a heat-safe surface when burning to avoid heat damage
  • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets and away from flammable objects
  • Stop burning your candle when there is less than 1/2" of wax left in the container
  • Use a candle snuffer to extinguish your flame to avoid splatter
  • Always read the warning label before burning

CANDLE CARE

  • Always trim your wick to approximately 1/4" before each use. By trimming your cotton wick each time, you will avoid uncontrolled flickering, a faster burn, black smoke, and soot from gathering along the edges of your candle
  • Light your candle for at least two to three hours to avoid tunnelling (until the melt pool reaches the edges of the jar) but no longer than four hours
  • Do not store your candle in direct sunlight. This can cause the wax to melt faster and/or change colour
